Michelle Petrie is a singer-songwriter from southeastern Colorado. Her music has a raw and honest approach. Her first, self-titled album was released in 2018.

Michelle dreamed of being a musician from a young age, however, it seemed an unlikely path for her. She was so shy that she once fainted after giving a speech in junior high. She slowly grew out of this while going to college and living overseas. Back in the states, she found that songwriting was great therapy. She began playing at open mics and a few shows around Denver with a friend in 2012, and by 2014 she was brave enough to play her own songs. Some of her recent highlights in music have been playing at FoCoMX in 2017, and being chosen for the singer-songwriter showcase at the Boulder International Film Festival (BIFF) in 2019.
